We will find focus, connection, and steadiness, by shifting our attention away from our daily lives and towards Nature. We will tap into our innate and ancient bond with Nature and all its benefits to human health. Not only will you walk away from your experience refreshed and refocused, but also better acquainted with yourself and the natural world with a deeper sense of well-being and place on earth.

Birding and Forest Bathing: Learn to identify local birds by sight and sound. No previous experience necessary! If you have binoculars, bring them. It’s the summer though, so be ready to turn down your eyes and connect with your ears, as most of our bird friends will be hiding in the leaves. Birding is an amazing way to play with your ability to control your senses and slow down. This is a mostly flat trail and we will be walking slowly and mindfully.

Forest Walk and Beach Meditation: Walk along a shaded most flat forest path to a beautiful beach where we can get our toes wet and will spend a short time in seated meditation.

This is a community-building gathering, no payment is necessary.
Carpool when you can (parking spots can be limited at some hiking locations).
Friendly pets and kiddos - who can be mostly silent/patient during meditation - are welcome.
No rain dates - we will only cancel due to extreme weather.
Please meet at location trailhead on time.
Plan to have you cellular device on “do not disturb” mode.
Come prepared with your own equipment, like sunscreen, bug spray, etc.
