Yin Yoga applies moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body - tendons, ligaments, and fascia. Postures are held passively for several minutes while relaxing the muscles, basking in stillness, and playing your edge. Yin increases joint mobility and rehydrates the connective tissues while also soothing the nervous system. This class is open to all levels - options are given to make the postures as gentle or challenging as the practitioner would like.
